On August 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25, 2017, Gradocell taught a course on the European regulation of medicines at the Universidad de los Andes (Los Andes University), Santiago de Chile, entitled “Manufacturing of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) in Compliance with the European Regulations,” sponsored by the company Cells for cells.
The training was imparted by Rossana García (Technical Director of Gradocell) and Ana Torres (Quality Director). They dealt with the theoretical aspects of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)standards as well as the documents you need to fill in, accountability in GMP systems, changes and deviations, access and clothing regulations, cleaning and disinfecting, and quality control.
They also visited one of the classified manufacturing areas of Cells for Cells, where they focused on the practical aspects of the course.
